This week we talk to Mary Scotton, Principal Developer Evangelist at Salesforce.com, whose mission is to educate and enable Administrators and Developers building on the Salesforce1 Platform. She has over 20 years of software development experience, a passion for enabling non-programmers to build powerful business applications, and a drive to increase diversity and inclusion in the tech workforce.

As one of the early members of the Platform Product Management team at salesforce.com, she designed the core features that evolved the platform from a simple customization tool for the CRM product into one of the leading cloud platforms in the industry. She holds several patents for inventions related to SaaS application platforms.
