Linda Hou on learning Salesforce

By

This week on the podcast we talk to Linda Hou, Salesforce Systems Administrator at the Grace Institute. Recorded live at the Salesforce World Tour stop in New York City on Nov. 19th, we hear from Linda as she works to implement Salesforce at a 114 year old company and how she is learning Salesforce. The Grace Institute was founded as a tuition-free training program for women in 1897. Their goals are to educate and find employment for women in need. Throughout the 20th century and into the 21st, Grace Institute has provided low-income and unemployed women with the skills training and job placement they need to become economically self-sufficient. Over 100,000 women have come through Grace Institute’s doors.

And filling in the co-host chair is Principal Developer Evangelist at Salesforce.com. Mary has been working with the Grace Institute to continue her mission to educate and enable Administrators and Developers building on the Salesforce1 Platform. She has over 20 years of software development experience, a passion for enabling non-programmers to build powerful business applications, and a drive to increase diversity and inclusion in the tech workforce.
