Shawna Wolverton on developing the #1 Cloud PlatformA quick note- this podcast was recorded at the Chicago Customer Company event, so the background noise is extensive in the first few minutes. But trust us, it’s worth a listen!

This week on the ButtonClick Admin podcast we talk to Shawna Wolverton who is the Senior Director, Platform Product Management at Salesforce.com. She most recently and famously worked on State and Country Picklists. And if you have attended the “True to the Core” session at Dreamforce you have most likely saw her on stage.
We ask her about her role as Platform Product Manager, and how the IdeaExchange has change the landscape for how she does her job and how a Customer Company operates. In this episode we learn how she works with her team to move the cliff in terms of when you have to jump to code- wait till you hear what she has to say abou that! Shawna also gives us some practical tips about managing our own roadmaps, and her favorite features in the Summer 13 release. Oh and Formula 1 racing!

You can connect with Shawna on Twitter @shawnawol.

Our Steve Mo Question this week is epic so we are giving you the link to appreciate it in it’s fullness- https://success.salesforce.com/questionDetail?qid=a1X30000000fBAGEA2&sort=newest_oldest
